The Gardens of the Royal Castle in Warsaw
Plac Zamkowy 4
On May 11, 2019, the Royal Castle in Warsaw solemnly opened its fully reconstructed gardens to the public, gaining a setting worthy of the seat of kings and the Republic of Poland. Today, the Castle Gardens are an ideal place to relax, accessible to all. Surrounded on the one hand by the majestic castle and on the other by the beautiful panorama of the Vistula River valley, they create an enchanting space which is an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The reconstructed Gardens of the Royal Castle in Warsaw return in dialogue with their past, with the tradition of the place and the forms rooted here, inextricably linked with the existence of the Castle, the appearance of the Old Town, as well as the so important panorama of the city from the side of the Vistula River and the layout of the entire Warsaw Escarpment, of which they are an element.
